Multi-release from unique zone but different number of particles

Dear all,
I need to run a simulation with an unique release zone and multiple release events. However, I need to simulate different number of particles at each release event.. I can't find an option in the configuration for this nor a similar question in this forum..
Can somebody indicate how this could be done?
Many thanks in advance,

Ichthyop version:
Ichthyop 3.3alpha
Hydrodynamic dataset:

I did something similar a while ago. I used QGIS togenerate the particles that I wanted to release, then exported the lat and long of the particles. Save these in a text file and use the drifters from a text file option.

Indeed, there is no option to do this. The way to do this is to change run independent simulations for each of your release events. For each, you change the beginning time of your simulation and the number of particles released from the zone.

Can't you use the same number of particles in the simulations and after that in the post-processing "weight" the results to take into account reproductive capacity change with time, if this is what you want to do?
