Export to kmz not working

I would like to export my simulated tracks as *.kmz to facilitate visualisation, and potentially easily converting the track into *.shp file. But, I run into troubles, as my exported *.kmz files continuously seem to be empty or corrupted, so that I cannot open them.
Is there a way to fix that?

Did you check that your run finished with no errors? Are the NetCDF files ok? One thing you can try to do is to re-run the code by showing the Java console, in order to have some hints on the errors.

Hi Nicolas,
I got the same problem when I was trying to export my results to KMZ. No errors were encountered when the simulation was being run, but only when I attempted to export the results:
[info] null
[severe] javax/xml/bind/JAXBException | java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/bind/JAXBException

I've added the configuration and (what I think is) the NetCDF if it'll help.

Hi Rushan

Seemingly, you don't have the javax/xml installed on your Java configuration. You can download it here:

I was able to convert your file without any problems.

Hi Nicolas,
Thanks for your reply! I've downloaded the file but it couldn't run (said there was an error). I suspect (probably correctly) that it's not an Ichthyop problem but a problem with my Java setup alone. Given I'm not a coder, I'll be trawling through a lot of other help forums to figure this out.
Thanks again, I have a direction I can work towards (at the very least).
